Nyx: What’s your desert island skincare product?

Lou: SPF/pa++++

Style + Fashion

Nyx: Favorite fashion designer, brand, or just “I live in Target athleisure”?

Lou: I love Dior (but don’t actually own any). Honestly, I’m a chameleon—I dress for my mood or the occasion! I usually know what look I’m going for at an event, and I’ll pick pieces based on that. After I had my son, you gifted me the best style class ever, and I figured out my style words are Classic/Rocker/Chic. Which, admittedly, is a lot—but it fits. I’m equally likely to wear pearls and a button-down, or leather pants, stilettos, and a ripped tee.

Daily Rituals

Nyx: Coffee order or tea ritual?

Lou: Both? Can I say both? My usual is an Iced Americano with one pump of vanilla and almond or oat milk.

Nyx: What song do you secretly get ready to?

Lou: I don’t have secrets when it comes to music—I’ll get ready to whatever suits me that day!

Nyx: Signature scent?

Lou: Gucci Guilty, a vanilla spray I’ve worn since high school, Sun Goddess from Carter + Jane, and Dioriviera. I’m notorious for layering two or three scents so no one can copy me.

Foodie Faves

Nyx: Favorite meal—bonus points if you pick your guilty pleasure vs. your “being healthy” go-to.

Lou: Taco Bell is definitely the guilty pleasure. But my true love? Tacos on tacos on tacos.

Nyx: What’s always in your car snack stash?

Lou: Haribo gummy bears.

Work + Play

Nyx: If you weren’t doing this, what would your dream job be?

Lou: I honestly don’t have a clue. Maybe a yoga and meditation instructor? Neuroscientist? Or host a podcast where I get to interview people I admire? To use your phrase, Nyx—I have range.

Nyx: Favorite self-care ritual that isn’t skincare?

Lou: Reading in bed.

Spa + Beauty Talk

Nyx: First beauty product you ever bought with your own money?

Lou: Sunscreen, Bonne Bell Lipsmackers (Dr. Pepper flavor), and nail polish.

Nyx: Current skincare product you’d never give up?

Lou: Our Eye // Gel 1-5-7.

Nyx: Go-to treatment you book for yourself?

Lou: Lash tint and our RezSignature facial.

Nyx: Lipstick, gloss, or balm?

Lou: ALLLLL the lip products. I’m a lip junkie. Please don’t ask how many I own—it’s probably a problem.

Nyx: Lash extensions forever, or mascara only?

Lou: Mascara. But I love extensions for vacation and events—it’s just not something I sit still well for.

Cozy Vibes

Nyx: What TV show do you rewatch when you need comfort?

Lou: Hart of Dixie, Schitt’s Creek, and Ted Lasso. But realistically…I haven’t watched TV in probably three years. I just don't make time for it.

Nyx: If you had an extra hour in the day, what would you do with it?

Lou: Sleep. I love sleep.

Nyx: Best vacation spot you’ve been to—or your dream one?

Lou: Best: Puerto Vallarta (I loved it there so much). Dream: Italy and Greece.

Nyx: Morning person or night owl?

Lou: Morning.

Nyx: Favorite holiday (decor or vibe counts too).

Lou: Christmas! I go a little crazy for the lights, glitter, and all things shiny.

Nyx: A talent or hobby most people don’t know about?

Lou: I can paint, and I sing—I was a professional singer for many years. I’m also really good at restringing pearls properly, with the knots between each one.
